Every day, as architects and designers, we challenge ourselves to achieve design excellence. What do we mean, and how do you do it? On our blog, we have the chance to explore this question in a loose and exuberant way. We, as a collective, are MHTN. As individuals, we have many interests and perspectives. This is our place to se what happens when we share diverse individual observations that inspire each one of us.
What is your bar for excellent design? You likely do things in your free time that rejuvenate your passion for what you do. I can imagine a very creative forum of images, experiences, and ideas, that tell the story of where each of us find design inspiration. Both the fun and the serious are relevant to get us all thinking.
In our marketing material we have professed, “We believe achieving success in design involves people from all disciplines and at every level working together in the unified effort to create inspiring environments that enhance the human condition” – we think the reality of it is alot more fun on the ground level. Our blog is connected to this thought, but, let’s let loose a little.
So, how do you do it? Are you inspired by other discipline’s thinking? Did you see a great performance that has a message for what we do each day? Whether it is what European architects are doing, or what your dog is doing that inspires you, share it. Here is our every day opportunity to begin by throwing our influences and ideas on the wall.
